Did you remember to set your clocks one hour ahead?

The concept of Daylight Savings Time has a long history dating back to the late 1700’s.

Its current policy was defined by Congress in 2005 to begin on the second Sunday in March and end on the first Sunday in November – as in “Spring forward…Fall back.”

This was done in hopes of saving money on energy bills by making the day longer, earlier in the year.

In the “Bug Business” Daylight Savings Time means SPRING is right around the corner!

The first official day of Spring is March 20 – the days ahead will be warmer and all the pests that have been dormant over the winter will be waking up.

Time for South Jersey homeowners to prepare for this year’s pest invasions!

Also, please take the time to change your smoke detectors’ batteries. A few minutes of your time could save a life.
