So “Punxsutawney Phil” got it wrong for South Jersey and spring in our area is coming a little later this year. The temperature changes have been all over the place. We’ve gone from turning on the air conditioning, then back to the heater and winter coats.

Outbreaks of West Nile Virus reported in Texas and Florida over the past few weeks have caused a lot of concern and the CDC just reported the deaths of 43 here in the United States. Sadly, South Jersey reported it’s first death – an elderly man from Willingboro, New Jersey.
You are out and about in your South Jersey yard and you see this huge “bee” hovering around your bushes. It’s about 2 inches long and your first instinct is to be frightened of it getting anywhere near you.
So you just stepped on some little tiny ants marching around in your South Jersey kitchen and all of a sudden there is a sickening sweet smell like a coconut pina colada that has been sitting out for a day or two on the counter.
